McCann Bristol’s The Climb scales new heights with prestigious award wins

We’re thrilled to share that our darkly-funny film The Climb, created for VOOM Nutrition’s POWR bars, has been recognised with multiple prestigious awards.

The film earned a Silver and a Bronze at the Kinsale Shark Awards, along with a Bronze at the London International Awards (LIA) and a Silver at the Creativepool Awards. These accolades celebrate the bold creativity and unique storytelling behind the campaign.

The Climb is a cautionary tale that follows a free climber preparing to tackle ‘the Big One’, an ominous, vertical rockface that he's always been fixated on. The film is shot with the same intensity as an epic sports documentary but ends with a ‘dark humour’ twist that viewers don’t expect, tying into the campaign line: ‘Never underestimate the Power of Plants.’

We’re proud to see The Climb resonating with audiences and judges alike, showcasing the power of combining cinematic storytelling with VOOM Nutrition's inspiring vision.
