Vodafone Connecting the nation's network

The very first mobile phone call and the emergency services have one thing in common: Vodafone. It’s the network connecting a nation. So, connecting its people – across call centres, stores, offices, and telephone masts – is something we’re pretty proud of. 

Since 2015, we’ve worked with them across their business to transform their employee experience, with new brand launches, well-being campaigns, event planning and more. They’ve since become one of the 10 Best Places to Work in the UK, and we’re now helping them roll out their new brand platform: The Nation’s Network.

Comply-Ants

In 2022, teams needed a way to remember their new and existing compliance responsibilities. So we created a whole new team – of miniature mascots, called the Comply Ants. They starred in franchise partner training, three UK-wide training modules, and 22 UK-wide security roadshows. Email read rates among employees were a sizeable 80%, and they collected 11,000 views across 11 Workplace posts.

Live to Learn

Vodafone wanted to foster a culture of learning and growth. So, we created a ‘Live to Learn’ brand, which we rolled out across roadshows, animations and collateral, as well as a learning-style quiz to show employees how they learn best. We also developed a content series which featured people learning in different ways – from listening to a podcast in the gym, to reading a book on their break. The campaign gained momentum, with posters, web banners and dynamic digital screens encouraging colleagues to ‘self-learn’ while VIP Talks starred a range of inspirational speakers discussing different aspects of their careers.
